Meredith Liss (MA, RD, CDN, CDE) has gained over 15 years experience as a master’s level Registered Dietitian in New York City. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Penn State University, and completed her dietetic internship at The New York Hospital. Recognizing the vital relationship between nutrition and exercise, she received a Master’s degree in Applied Physiology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Meredith holds a senior level position at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Her nutrition expertise ranges from HIV/AIDS, to cancer, gastrointestinal disorders, cholesterol management, blood pressure control, weight management, sports nutrition, and diabetes. Meredith is a Certified Diabetes Educator, and works as a nutrition coach for www.Fit4D.com, a website dedicated to helping people living with diabetes.
Meredith is affiliated with the American Dietetic Association and the Greater New York Dietetic Association, and is a member of various dietetic practice groups including Weight Management, Diabetes Care and Education, and HIV/AIDS. She has participated in various nutrition-related research projects, and has presented original research at 5 different international medical conferences. Meredith has published articles in scientific journals and newsletters.
