We can eat well in response to hunger and stop when we are sated to maintain a healthful weight and prevent disease. Or we can use food as distraction, or as a way of numbing our feelings. As certified dietitian/nutritionists we will give you the tools you need to make the right choices about food. We will help you incorporate your favorite foods into you daily choices, teach you how all foods can fit into a healthy eating plan (yes, even chocolate!), and help you change your relationship with food.
We can choose to be physically active most days as a way to age with strength or we can continue to find excuses why we can’t. Exercise to improve health does not have to be running marathons and intense gym workouts. We will show you how to incorporate exercise into your everyday life. We will work with you to find the exercise program that best suits your lifestyle and fitness level. Exercise can be fun, not a chore. Exercise can be done at home, work, on the way to work, or any number of places. It’s not just for gyms and tracks anymore!
