Sometimes we feel like our physician, nutritionist,
and/or personal trainer have all the answers. I like to work with
my clients so that together we can set and reach realistic goals.
In a fast-paced city like New York, it’s my job to make fitness
accessible to my clients, so that fitness and exercise become a
priority! As your personal fitness trainer, I hope to be more of
a guide and facilitator to teach you to understand your body and
your body’s needs.
The first fitness consultation before actual training begins is
extremely important. During the initial consultation, we will discuss
your medical history, physical activity history, and current health
status. Though we’re not going to “train” during
the initial consultation, I will assess your fitness level –
cardiovascular, muscular, and flexibility. I also observe posture
and look for muscle imbalances or weakness. Our first session together
is very important because everything we discuss, including your
personal fitness goals and exercise preferences, and all the things
I observe will be incorporated to create individualized fitness
program.
