Fitness Background

Mary Jane started her fitness career teaching aerobics for the Fun Fitness Company in Westport, Ct. She was part of the first group to become “gold certified” as an aerobics instructor taking the first ever national exam for certification. Her career path took her to Physical Integrity, a small, personalized gym in Wilton, Ct. where she was Director of Aerobics and started her personal training career. Since then she has earned a BS in Movement Science and an MS in Applied Physiology and Nutrition. She is certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). She worked as a personal trainer at Equinox in New York City before starting her own personal training business working with clients in their homes, apartment gyms and Central Park. She also trains clients at Lift Gym and Strive NYC in New York City.

Mary Jane’s personal training business focuses on healthy aging, women, pre/postnatal, osteoporosis and older populations. She brings years of experience, a positive attitude, high energy and a highly, motivational style to her training clients. She focuses on you during your training session using hands on technique to correct form, teaching you how to use the machines and free weights correctly to prevent injury and to make the greatest strides in muscular development. She will create a program that focuses on her client’s goals and their individual physical needs.
